​In July 2017 an appointment at Auckland Hospital for what was expected to be pinched nerves rapidly turned into a diagnosis of highly aggressive Acute Lymphatic Leukaemia. When you hear those words, time seems to stands still, your life goes on hold and you have a single focus of beating this illness.
